Bathroom Recessed spotlights with fixed LED chip
Downlights with a fixed LED chip have a long lifespan, because the downlights from R&M Lighting are made of a high quality material. Are you assured that you do not only have an energy-efficient recessed spot, but also an economical fixture, because the lighting will last a very long time. The high quality can be found in the brands of the LED chips that we use. We only work with brand LED chips such as Cree and Citizen. But not only the brand of the LED chip is important, the LED driver or also called LED transformer is a large part of the lifespan of the bathroom LED recessed spot. By using stable drivers, the life of the LED chip is not negatively affected. It is also important that an LED chip can properly lose its heat! For this, the LED chip must be properly mounted on the cool body of the LED spot. The material and size of the heat sink must be properly matched to the LED chip. The more power, the bigger the heat sink must be. If the heat sink is too small, the LED chip will burn quickly, because it becomes too hot.
IP44 and IP65 bathroom recessed spotlights
When installing recessed spotlights in the bathroom, make sure that you pay close attention to where you place the spotlights. Dive into the zone layout in the bathroom (you can find it here).
Above the shower you need an IP65 recessed downlight. This is splash proof! If you place recessed downlight in zone 3, you can simply use an IP21 or higher. Outside the zone area you do not have to take an IP class into account. Here you can use any spot you want. Opt for a high quality bathroom LED recessed spotlight because you don't want rusted spots in your bathroom ceiling. LED bathroom recessed downlight with a low installation height
LED bathroom recessed spotlights with a low installation height are available from stock at R&M Lighting. We have different models that take into account a minimum installation height. We have spotlights with an installation height of 35mm. This means that your ceiling only has to be lowered slightly and still place beautiful LED spots.

Are you going to make a bathroom? Or are you going to completely redesign a bathroom? Then also remember to make a lighting plan.
