Recessed Lighting not only creates atmosphere but can also make a room look optically larger. Good lighting also gives a certain appearance. It is therefore very important to choose the right spot.

The fixtures with a fixed LED chip have a warm light color 2700 Kelvin.
Fixtures whose light sources are interchangeable, the light color depends on the light source to be used.

Difference between Trimless spotlights with fixed LED chip or with an interchangeable light source
There are Trimless spotlights with a fixed LED chip or built-in LED. The LED is stuck in the fixture. These are fixtures that are specially made for the LED- chip and have a separate driver (LED power supply). The lifespan of these fixtures is therefore very high.
There are also borderless recessed downlights whose light source is separate. Think of a GU10 LED lamp or an MR16 LED lamp. The advantage of this is that the light sources can be easily replaced and the wide choice of light sources that are suitable for these trimless spotlights.
Dimming Trimless spotlights
The luminaires with replaceable light sources are dimmable if the light source to be used is dimmable.
The LED trimless spotlights with a built-in LED are usually dimmable and come standard with a dimmable LED driver. This is dimmable with a tronic or LED dimmer.
On request we can also supply these spotlights with a Dali dimmable driver or a 1-10v dimmable driver. It is best to consult this with your contractor or installer first.
How many trimless spotlights in the ceiling?
This depends on the height of the ceiling and on the light angle of the light sources.
The desired amount of light also plays a role. It is therefore always wise to think carefully about this or have a lighting plan made for the trimless spotlight.
Where can the trimless spots be placed?
Trimless spotlights or also stucco spotlights can be placed in both concrete and suspended plasterboard ceilings.
Please note that when the trimless spotlights have to be placed in a concrete ceiling, sparing boxes or recess boxes are placed during construction.
These are poured into the concrete and the trimless spotlight can be placed in this later. This is only possible with new construction. It is best to have this signed up immediately in the design of your project.
Placing trimless spotlights in a suspended ceiling is pretty easy. Most importantly, there is enough installation space. Make sure that there is a power connection with each stucco spot on site.
